I noticed recently there was an outage while everything was transferred to a new server. Am I the only person who has suffered a significant deterioration in response times since this happened? My little wheel spins like a looney and it only appears to be this site.

There have been a few updates recently - but current response times are getting quicker and quicker as I refine our new caching systems. It should be super fast across the board. Have you tried a Refresh of the page just in case you have older cached content or something.
I am keen to work through any issues you may have but there should be nothing slowing you down at this point.

It's certainly working quicker for me. I'm on Win 10, I wonder what windows the slow responses are on?

For the last couple of weeks when I open a thread it opens fully with all the replies readable for about 10 secs. It then drops into the normal view. I have cleaned all my temp files and caches (I think) but still does it. When I post a reply or follow up it does the same. Other forums I haunt are ok.

Mine the same as TomH's. Opens with words but no lines or colouring.
(As I write this the word 'colouring' has red underlining? Does this site want American spelling??)

For my desktop computer with Windows 7, as per TomH, it is much slower to finish loading with the
grey banding the last to come after a pause - all this has happened after your changes.
All other sites, including large ones such as news papers, quick as usual.
For my laptop with Linux Mint - which I am using more and more because it is so superior to Windows, it loads straight away with the
grey areas, etc and no period of "all posts seen" with no shading.
Cheers
Andrew

Greg,
Thanks for your response.
Not sure why the American spelling but my Settings shows my language as English (Australian).
In Word, the correct spelling is normal while the American version (color) is underlined.

Nothing has changed here, it just depends on what time of the day I open the site.
Mine is either slow or slower as the internet is whiss poor in the area where I live.
