Just wondering is there a story behind the cover photograph used here of
rainbow valley NT at the top of the page , was it the winner of the photo competition just recent .

The photos at the top of the site cycle through a selection reserved for this slot at random. Depending on your browser, you can hover your mouse over the image to read the alt text which usually contains the photographer's name and image title/caption - whatever was provided by the photographer. We have not used the photos from this year's photo competition for this slot - the winners photos have been compiled into the ExplorOz Calendar 2017 , which is available to purchase from our online
