Well there you go!!! Just goes to show I wasn't looking
well enough.
Still its like if you see a fire or accident you should call 000
Never assume some one else has reported it.
I will look a bit closer next time.
Cheers

Many years ago a truck pulled a overhead electrical service down. A
police officer saw it happen but when the truck stopped the officer though the driver would report it,
well he didn't and a fella walking
home from the pub at night, stood on it and was electrocuted.

Looks like it was sitting beside something that was hot, maybe too close to the
camp fire, Sorry no warranty for that, you must take care where you place your appliance.

Ordinarily I'd have to agree with you Ian however the unit was mounted on a fridge slide under the ute canopy and it caught fire at 6am being a relatively cool part of the day. The people concerned were asleep in a Maggiolinna atop the canopy. They were lucky given other plastic items in the canopy also caught fire. Had the vehicle been unattended I reckon it was only a matter of minutes before the whole vehicle would have been lost. A very sobering experience!

I totally agree with you that the results of this fire could have been catastrophic and I'm sorry for my remarks above, but I was only joking in my comment.

Hi Leigh
Those people were very lucky indeed and that would be the last thing that you would expect to catch on fire.
Cheers and Seasons Greetings
