Some of you may remember Bob, he was "The
Birdsville Cop"
He was buried in
Toowoomba yesterday, a prostate victim, aged 69
He was always a source of knowledge when passing thru
Birdsville and was
well liked in the town although at times a little controversial.

Wasn't aware of pre Neale McShane era
police officers in
Birdsville, but sad news none the less.
It takes a special breed to be based in such
places, but would be highly rewarding on a personal level.
Cancer such such a bitch, but then so is Emphysema, Dementia, Parkinsons, MND, and other such.
Like the song says, best you can hope for is to die in your sleep.
