Hi guys. Anyone out there had to access the heater/ blower fan on their rodeo/ Colorado. Mine is making an awful noise and I'd dearly love to pull it out and fix it , without handing over my hard earned cash to Holden. Sounds like it is under dash on passenger side but I'm not sure how big a job to get to it. All help fratefully appreciated. Ta doc.

Some makes allow it to be accessed from under the dash, have a look and see if it is obvious where its installed.

Doc
Your right it's behind the glove box. If you look up from underneath you will see it and it's held in by 3 scews and eazy to remove. They get noisey due to water getting into the motor and as it's mounted upside down rests in the bottom and either seizes or flogs out the bottom bearing. The motor is usually unrepairable so either new or second hand required.
Hope that helps.

Rodger that. Will have a go and pull it out next weekend. Sounds like I need to have a replacement unit organised. Of course this would have to happen in peak summer heat. Ta doc.
