End of an eccentric era. For those of you whose wanderings have taken you to the Province of Hutt River over here in WA....Prince Leonard is to retire afer 46 years of wrangling with the ATO and no doubt many other Federal, State and Local Government departments.

I could not get the link above to activate so did a little digging.
According to this ABC news item the Principality is not being dissolved but Prince Leonard is abdicating and passing 'The Crown' to his son Graeme.

1st visit back in Oct interesting place tourism is the main go don,t know the farm makes that much pretty rough country , I think theres 7 kids 3 in Perth 2 run the farm 2 run the province they were all on the same page Prince Graeme and Princess cheryl ect . All were in attendance the weekend we were there I reckon it,s an another planed move .I doubt the bit about not paying taxes he states he doesn,t pay rates but donate,s to the shire the amount on the rate notice.
