I recently had some very helpful people identify a little bird up here at Telfer the other day (Crimson Chat), thank you all.
I have attached a photo of another little bird, looks like a ground dwelling type with a nice golden colour on its back with black wing tips when it flies.
When I did get close enough I noticed that it kept bobbing its head.
If anyone can assist with its ID would be appreciated.

Australian Pratincole. Seen in open country and flushed from road sides and tracks. Has pointed wings in flight with a swallow action. Can be in large flocks anywhere across most of Australia. This is a
young bird.
