$1.25 for diesel at the service station in Douglass Pde, Newport tonight. I've bought you three x 200 litre cans Muz. I'm safer than the
Capricorn Roadhouse :-)
When can you pick it up? The queen is complaining it's taking up too much room in the shed (she can't get into the beer fridge lol).

G'day Muzbry, I have the PetrolSpy app on my iPhone and it tells me the current price of fuel at all servos within the area and diesel prices ranged between $1.279 and $1.369. Very useful app for chasing down current fuel prices.
Cheers

Hang on you lot!! This is a ROT test and I'm with the ROT police. That would be Random Off Topic for those who don't know their acronyms. I've forgotten what the topic was but you guys have definitely gone off it. We've got apps, Donald Trump, a bad case of gas, and even the long lost Mick O rearing his head up from who knows where to check that he's still himself. It's Muzbry's fault of course, because he didn't include the date, time and gps coordinates of the cheap garage.....the damn thread could have been done and dusted in one post. Instead, here we are 5 posts down a follow up side track with big yellow unhappy faces making us sad.
I want you all to remember the pain and suffering that you may be causing fellow
forum users by writing replies and follow ups....now get on with it.

Gday Muz! I think I'll stop whinging about the price in
Adelaide.
Today I paid $1.16 at Woolworths/
Caltex at
Richmond SA for Vortex Diesel after the 4c discount. But most of the other servos had increased to $1.25 plus.

sounds normal to me, but seriously think WA is getting a bum deal.
If i head about 15mins away from my house I can get diesel for 120cpl if i go 5mins down highway west i pay 137 cpl.
Place i go to had had that 120cpl for several months now, but has according to fuelwatch dropped it down to 117cpl for today and guess it shall remain that way for few weeks.
They seem to keep price stable unlike the cycling major companies required to do where a price is increased by 10cpl over night then drops back again few days later - not like crude oil is $100+ a barrel closer to $50

Dean, why do you think WA is getting a bum deal. Were I live it is a major port in Qld that moves a lot of fuel and you are paying less than us by 4 cents for diesel.
How it works, I will never know but I am sure the fuel companies will be happy with that. One thing I know is, it is not about the state you live in as they all have their good prices and not so good prices over time.
The companies just seem to spread their love around.

134.9c/L for diesel at
Caltex Charters Towers yesterday.
Seemed to be the average price from there through to
Cairns, though did see a
United at
Innisfail, at 129.9c/L.
We record all our fuel purchases on Fuel Map too. Handy to reference back if one needs to check, or doing some trip planning.

Cairns is always expensive, you go down to homohill (sorry, mate lives there and I always give him some) from
Townsville and diesel there is $1.23. A week ago I paid $1.26 in
Collinsville and can never work out fuel prices
