Thought this might be of interest. There have been a few postings from people who intend/are travelling long term. The register seems to be a good idea, and it would be great if it takes off and becomes country wide.
Anyone who is travelling (especially in Qld) might be in luck if they want a bit of casual work. Unfortunately there is no reference to where this register is located, but I guess an approach to Aunty will provide the answer.
