Back travelling after years away and recently rejoined ExplorOz. Heading for
White Cliffs by lunch time 3rd May.
Cobar to WC is too long a leg. Any suggestions about a caravan stop about 200ish km from WC for the morning run. Lets forget about
Wilcannia. It had a bad rep in the past Thanks folks

You could try Coach and Horses on the Darling track.
You can take a nice detour from the Cobar/Willcania Road on farm tracks which joins the Darling track a bit further North.

The new caravan
park just south of WC is very good. Grass sites, running
water and
toilets.
But the Coach and Horses is free along the bank of the Darling. Not far away from the main drag to resume your journey.

..
It is nice there, but Nat Pks charges $10 a night per adult.
There are
toilets there, but nothing else bar some permapine logged off campsites.
I've camped there a few times driving from
Adelaide to
Brisbane, a nice half way point for me.
