I am aware that there is a fair length of sealed road from
Windorah to
Birdsville.
Can you tell me approximately how much unsealed road is left on this road?

Exactly 277km.
Good driving, looked after gravel, different in wet conditions though, usually closed if enough falls.

About 120kms is sealed, west of
Windorah.

The Diamantina Dev Rd is sealed from
Windorah to where you turn left onto
Birdsville Dev Rd, that sealed section to the BV turnoff is 109km.
