Sounds like you are having a great trip with your Dad and Massie. Make sure you head up through Wilpena and you can
camp with Massie at
Rawnsley Park. There are some fantadtic real 4 X 4 tracks at Arkapena ans
Merna Mora.
Make sure you drop into
Farina, it is unreal there and lots to see.
Keep those photos coming and enjoy the Flinders, as there is just so much to see.

Thanks for your advice.
We're already in
Leigh Creek, and we're turning right at
Lyndhurst tomorrow. We passed
Merna Mora today.
You're right about the Flinders though, nice part of the world- might have to make it a special trip one day.
We are having a great time so much of the country to see yet

When you get to
Lyndhurst, go to the Pup for the cheapest Diesel Al.
The pump is in the LHS of the road and go over to the pub so they can turn the pump on.
Have fun up the Strez. There are some good camps in the Common at
Innamincka where you can
camp with dogs, also a good meal at the
Innamincka Pub, and hop over the boarder into Queensland and stay at
the Dig Tree Site.
