I believe it is now closed......sad as it an amazing experience....we did it last year.
Also think it would be mighty wet this season, it as as dry as...last year

Great that you can still get permits, I was mis informed about it being closed.
We did it finishing at Home Valley and took 11 days to complete......tyres were the only casualty though needed winching a couple of times.....tough on vehicles but if you take your time damage is minimal
I had a Hema app on the iPad which was good but at times an ordinary GPS was more accurate.
A great experience and doubt if there are many on a par with it.
