Thanks Peter. Is the base plate of the pump still present? Did they cap the bore shaft or has the whole lot been removed?

Sorry Mick I didn't look in that much detail. It's widely reported as not being there, nearby signs have "no water" written on them and I didn't see anything. I wrote the comment from the ExplorOz App so didn't realise there was a forum thread about it until I found this by accident.

I was there 9th July last year and here is a photo taken then. As you can see it was still there then. Will be there again in Sept I will take more photo's and post when I can. Chris
