A bloke has posted a Google review on Broome Ford, just 2 weeks ago - and he has given them 2 stars and written ...

"They are not doing any services at this time, may be closing down".

Broome Ford - Google

The Ford dealership in Broome changed hands in March 2016, when Pilbara Car & Truck Rental purchased three motor vehicle dealerships/franchises (Ford, Kia & Mitsubishi) from Regent Motor Group.

Regent Motor Group sold four dealerships/franchises at that time, with the 4th one, Nissan, being picked up by Pilbara Motor Group.

The addition of the Nissan agency gave Pilbara Motor Group, five dealerships/franchises - Toyota, Holden, Nissan, Hyundai, and Suzuki - over five locations - Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Newman and Malaga (Perth).

Barry, are you saying that Pilbara Car & Truck Rental has now sold the Ford dealership again, only 15 months after purchasing it?

I cannot find any news article anywhere - particularly in business news - that says PC&TR has sold, or is getting out of the Ford dealership in Broome.

Maybe they are just cutting the dealership back to a bare-bones operation?
I'll be in Broome for a month from mid-July, I'll try to find out what is going on.

Cheers, Ron.
