Well 13 (Pulpurumal)

At 2km west of the CSR, Well 13 (Pulpurumal) is in total ruin. It has collapsed in on itself, there is no hole just a slight depression in the ground. The trough however is long and mostly intact,

The trip leader Tony should never have let a vehicles like that out there in the first place.

Can i ask what Sub standard tyres are? Are they lacking tread, are they cheap Chinese tyres ? Just asking what you think are sub standard

Can I ask what the purpose of these Comment type posts are when there is no context to the Comment - same as the other Comment on the well pump on the CSR - sorry I fail to see the relevance.

I am sure Michelle or David will also reply.

But the way I see it is that a poster is making the comment from the Places section. They are making a comment / updating the information that is held on a particular place (or even adding a new place).

The ExplorOz system then posts the comment on the forum page so that interested parties can see that information or comments have been added.

I agree with your query regarding relevance - particularly against the comments of this latest post. The info doesn't serve to improve what is held for a place and the comments from others who have replied tend to support that.

Thanks for that - I can see what you mean now, being linked to the Place Section but other than now seeing "Place" Comment in the title I would not have made the link.

I guess it is just a quirk of this forum and now that I am aware of it, well I guess I am aware of it.
