So, Mary obviously isn't going for "Australia's oldest licensee" title?

Not a bad effort though, still running a pub at 93!

The title of Australia's oldest licensee is held by Ma Ring, of the New Brighton Hotel in Billinudgel.
I don't think anyone will ever beat her record.

Ma Ring held the licence of the New Brighton Hotel from 1929 to 1983 - until the day she died - at age 102!

Cheers, Ron.

I worked on a property out the back of Barringun a lot of years ago and that pub was my local. Knew Mary and her husband Bay. they also had a daughter that was a teacher in Bourke. Nice people.
