Just my view.
Ive had 6 cars on duel fuel and two falcons on deficated lpg.
The duel fuel cars were commuter cars from
Yea to Epping daily and over a whole year no matter the fluctuating prices per litre it always worked out at 50% log cost to petrol.
The dedicated falcons eere much better in savings than duel fuel.
So after two years of calculations I no longer worried about it.

We recently did a run of 640km in our Toyota Aurion and it cost $57 in petrol. Sitting on 100 - 110kmh where permitted.
From Noarlunga SA to Pt. Lincoln.
Pretty happy with that.

And with ulp at about 132c/L when I was in
Cairns a couple of weeks ago, older dual fuel vehicles like
mine that use about 30% more on lpg wouldn't save much! Currently 69.9c at caltex/woolies and 79.9 at BP/Shell in the ACT.

Just a note, Coles pulled out 99 lpg bowsers and tanks around Australia this year.
North Qld, no-one uses lpg anymore. Have done 900k in our ulp I30 at an average of 5.56 litres/100 and cost around $62 for the trip at $1.23 a litre. Highway speed 100K an hour. 2 people and luggage.
