Big 4m Salt water crocodile has been observed at 80 mile beach today. Tourists are still swimming in the area??? Guys take a note, area from Broome to Port Hedland is known to contain few crocs. Swim at your own risk.

Gotta love these crocs.

I recall a few years ago when Bill Clinton (and Hiliary - Bill & Hill) visited Australia and had a couple of days off in Port Douglas. On the day before he had planned a swim in the briny a *very* large croc was observed surfing in to shore. Swim cancelled.

Now that might have been a swim to change the course of history.

I wish he took that swim. 150 children and 2500 civilians (victims of 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia) would still be alive today.

I know these things are temperature dependant, eg cold blooded, but I wonder what the law would suddenly be if they were at say Surfers or Manly.

Beats the crap out of me, ya can't smoke at the beach, but ya can swim and either drown, get eaten by a shark, get eaten by a croc.

There seems to be a lot of talk about culling Kangaroos and Koalas from time to time, and they don't even eat people!

80 mile beach. I tried to persuade mine to go for swim but she hanged on to a bull bar pretty hard mate. She is a top cook, i think i'll keep her for a while longer. :-)
