Hi,
Has anyone traversed the Parachilna -
Blinman Road recently towing a blacktop van of 20' or so? I understand there are several
creek crossings and am concerned that the backside of our soft van will get ripped out. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Couple of months ago.
Take it quietly and you will have no dramas at all (apart from some dust). Many conventional vans make the journey.
Cheers,
Peter

Agree with above, there are no steep entry or exits from the
creek beds.

Unless you wish to
camp in
the gorge (there are many great spots), in which case you may need to inspect the tracks closely before committing.

Was there a few weeks back and the creeks had a bit of
water but by staying on the Angorichina Village road NOT
Glass Gorge you will be fine. Just take it easy particularly at the blind corners
Would never take a van through
Glass Gorge as too windy and narrow.
Apart from that stop off at the Parachilna Pub for a Fargher Lager and FMG

Hi,
We took this road May 2016 with a Jurgens Semi Off Road 18 foot six Caravan, no problems, a bit dusty, and take your time to suit the road surface.

Took our starcraft through a couple months ago. Easy as, just take your time an trickle along and enjoy the magnificent view.
Blinman Pub is open again, do the
mine tour and get a pasty from the
Blinman Cafe. A great place to stopover.
Cheers
