Does anyone know what the number displayed in the top R/H corner of my Hema 7 GPS is and how do i remove it. I can`t find any reference to it anywhere and other owners that I have asked haven`t been able to help.

Thanks in advance,
Scrubby.

Scrubby, if you click on the PDF icon and select open, it shows a copy of your photo of the HN7 display. Unfortunately I can't help you with an answer though.

Cheers Mick

Hello

Can't help that much - appears to be the eastern UTM coordinates of your current postiton.

Not sure how you have conjured it up on that screen page if it wasn't there before.Check out your page settings - dont have a H7 (but do have OziCE on another device..without icon buttons) so not sure what particular buttons to press.

Maybe someone else can help.

Cheers
Greg

Hema tech support would probably be a good place to ask your question

How to Change from UTMThe Hema Navigator HN5i, HN6 and HN7 models each come with TWO layouts for OziExplorer pre-installed.
There is a standard layout (which is the default layout active when the unit comes out of the box), and a layout which includes the UTM Grid Reference as an additional display parameter.
Fire fighting agencies who use the Navigator often use the UTM Grid Reference as an aid during the course of their work.
If you have loaded the UTM layout by mistake, it is easy to change it back to the standard layout. (or if you have the standard layout, and want to load the UTM layout, the process is the same).
Note!
The screens shown here are from an HN7 Navigator, but the process is the same for the other models.
OziExplorer with UTM Display active
Tap the Settings button on the right hand toolbar.
Tap the Load Layout button on the Settings screen.
Load Layout button
Double-tap the layout file you wish to load (either the standard or the UTM version)
OziExplorer loading Layout file
Wait for a short period (5-10 seconds) for the layout to load.
After loading the standard layout file, OziExplorer will not display the UTM grid reference in the top-right corner of the map panel.
