Have recently had stronger springs fitted to rear of 80 series which has lifted the rear end about 500mil ( 2 inches+). Wlhilst before the fuel guage read about 1/2 empty after 400 kms it now reads1/2 empty after about 350 kms. Could it be that guage reader is situated at back of the tank and is now reading less than it did before because of the lifted rear end? Haven't yet filled the tank up to check economy but thought I would ask to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Terry, you might find that lifting your vehicle has increased the air resistance and affected your fuel consumption. We noticed the same thing in our 80 series. Graeme
