Thought I’d post this today as tomorrow I might be buzzing around like a blue bummed fly, it’s hard to imagine but Thursday we leave for 6 weeks. I think I’ve remembered to a]: pack everything, b]: leave keys with the appropriate people, c]: inform my mates the local constabulary, d]: given Martin [the kid up the road who’s looking after our dogs] a cash advance for doing so and instructions on how to tame the hungry hounds, e]: talked to the PO about our mail, f]: said “bye” to the neighbors, g]: said “bye” to my mum ! [that should be ‘a’ but she won’t read this so I”ll get away with it…J ]
Thanks to everyone who’s helped us get ready over the past few weeks…big thanks to Jim [aka Diamond] for coming over on Sunday and doing some work on the car.
The kids are excited they want to see a crocodile and the big “
rock’, the Wiggles have just been on “tour” up there in their latest magazine so the kids are keen to see what the wiggles saw …though I have a horrible feeling they think they’re going to see the Wiggles!
We’re looking forward to bumping into to some of you during our travels. I shall be logging on and saying “hi” when able and giving progress reports.
Safe and happy travels to everyone who is also about to leave, [Glenn, hope the Simpson is safe for you to cross…guess we’ll find out when we catch up in
Clare]
Keep safe all,
Cheers
Lyn

Hi guys
Have a fantastic trip. As you can imagine we are extremely jealous, would love to be heading off ourselves... we'll have our 4 weeks in Sept though (don't think Andrew can wait that long).
Sounds like you have all been busy. The kids will have a ball, don't know about seeing the Wiggles ( but they may get to "run the pants off a kangaroo" though!!).
Don't know what Andrew will do now his MAAAAAAAAAAAA is going away!! LOL and no Willem..... ahhhhhh......I am feeling sorry for him!! Maybe Mr. Lexik will look after him????
Safe travelling, enjoy yourselves and the time together as a family.
Jen

Hi Jen
it shall be fantastic for the kids to spend so much time with their father....due to his work commitments they don't see alot of him and lately he's been busy at
home as
well...so will be wonderful, and also to spend some quality time with our great mates the Wombats....
I'm sure Andrew shall survive without his Maaaaaaaaaa and I promise to log on and give progress reports just so there are no withdrawals...[Al will say that's for me ...ahhahahaha...] I'm sure Des will look after Andrew and the c.r.a.p will keep flowing...
take care....September is not that far away...
cheers
Lyn

Jen, how can Mr Lexic look after him, he doesn't do as he is told now so what chance have I got.
Thinking about Willem being off line and MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA going away for some R&R. maybe Andrew has chased them away. I think he needs a heavier workload so that you can live in the manner you could be come accustomed to.
Just think of all the jewellery you coul buy.
