Techni ice fridge stockists

Hi. I am considering getting one of theses fridges however wanted to examine one in the flesh . Having trouble finding out who stocks them. Are they an online purchase only? Has anyone seen them in store/ at a show? Thanks . Doc

I think they are online only.

Have you thought of their website, or calling them? They are open right now. They *might * know where to buy their products LOL.

Doc, I don't know what their current metal case fridges are like, but the older ABS type plastic ones are awesome.
I bought a 45lt, oh, about 4 years ago, and apart from a failed power cable not long after new (replaced under warranty with a Waeco right angle type) it has been faultless, many rough trips under the belt, and very low power draw.
I think their icebox experience and how well they insulate makes a difference.

Thanks for that Les. Ye power cords can be a weak point with fridges. (I love the feature of the kick ass fridge which has an anderson plug connection- maybe others will head the same way including the techni ice) We damaged the engel plug one trip so I always carry a spare now. Doc

My neighbour has probably got the same 45ltr one Les has he bought his a few yrs ago and it is very good on power no problems with the power lead yet. Didn't know the lead was compatible with the Waeco I'll let him know if his ever plays up that way he can probably pick one up at nearly any out let in Aus that sells Waeco's thanks for the info about that.

No worries Batts.
The original Techniice lead came straight out, poor design, while the Waeco is lower profile and less likely to be damaged / dislodged.
