Congratulations to Sam
Mitchell for being awarded Australian Geographic’s
Young Adventurer of the Year in recognition of his traverse of the CSR on a homemade solar powered bicycle.
Sam’s journey was epic and highlights what can be achieved through a vision; a belief in one’s self, and pure grit and determination.
His achievement, which he tends to understate, stands testimony that a spirit of adventure is embraced by many
young Australian’s from all walks of life.
And anyone who has traveled the CSR will fully appreciate, I’m sure, Sam’s triumph of adventure.
