Amazing really. I believe there are a few of these not to mention USA vehicles that clocked 1 Million
Miles. Testimony to Toyota and how their reputation became folklore.

Great effort; I changed my 8-year-old Hilux over at 175,000 km - looks like the buyer got a good deal :-)

That is not limited to Hilux of the Toyota family.
I used to do some minor service work on an SV21 Camry, it completed more than 1,000,000km and the engine had only valves adjusted and cam belt and alt replaced. Never had the head off.
The auto also was never touched apart from
services.
The
suspension did require replacement a couple of times, the weakest link being the shock absorbers.
Drivers
seat, changed from a crashed vehicle.

My 80 has 610,000 kms on the clock. We changed the original clutch at 595,000 kms. That's about the only major work we've done to it.

610,000km Hmmm! That makes my Patrol look like a baby at 430,000 km, a clutch at 415,000km. Michael

I had a Holden Nova (re-badged Corolla) that did 500,000 before it left our family. A clutch at 300k and a rocker cover gasket was all it ever asked for outside consumer items and regular service.

My Brother in Law's 100 Series has 800,000 on the clock and only ever had tyres, brakes pads and shockers replaced. Being a
farm vehicles, it spends all its life on the road, with weekly trips between farms here in
Clare and their other farms over at Buckleboo on the west coast.
It is still going strong and it will be handed down to one of his sons for
farm work, while Peter is getting a new 200 series.
Cheers
Stephen

to what? The omission of a "o" alters the whole meaning.
