I am travelling from
Gundagai down the Hume Hwy to eventually get to Walwa where we are staying during the 'Man from
Snowy River' Festival. I am towing a 3.25t off-road van.
Has anyone turned off at
Holbrook and used the Jingellic Road via Wantagong to the
Murray River? What is the road condition/suitability?
Thank you.

That road is a good country sealed road. Has one bit of an incline midway that will require a fairly low gear but its only a short climb. The road carries a few B Double log trucks at times so caution is required when passing as the road is not overly wide. That's the way I would travel, other option would be via theTumbarumba road & Mannus, similar roads & log trucks also.
Cheers,

I did that road once. It's a beautiful drive on Bitumen as I recall.
