Hi Dan, great read, we also travel with our dogs, one in our car, and two with my Brother-In-Law in his car. We love the desert and its isolation. Haven't been as remote as you, the
Simpson Desert (French & QAA Lines) is about as remote as we have been. We are crossing the Simpson from East to West in late April, again on the French & QAA lines. My Brother-In-Law & I are planning to
Geosurveys Hill & the Geographical Centre of the Simpson in a couple of years.

Hey Macca, thanks bud. Love it out here... Geosurvey and the centre sounds great - and don't forget the
Madigan Line. I reckon that's my favourite crossing of the Simmo. Did it last year in June/July - saw about 5 other cars! Geez it was so relaxing and peaceful - and the track - so much better than the QAA/French/WAA/Rig... enjoy! cheers

Hi Dan, My Brother-In-Law & I will definitely be travelling the
Madigan Line at some stage in the future. I also have the Len Beadell roads on my bucket list as
well.
