Trip/Gathering NT - Madigan Line

The finke desert race return leg is on 11th june Queens birthday long weekend
have you got your permit for the madigan ? if so how long did that take ?

Well your the first. Lol. Unfortunately I've gone about this all wrong I should have asked if there was any interest in a crossing and then set the date. I'm locked into starting our holidays on the 21/05/18 from Brisbane. We were going to take our time and go to Ayres Rock first and the start the Madigan around the 5/6/18. We can forget about the rock and bring the crossing forward to miss the start of the Finke Desert race but that's about all unfortunately.

I've been calling the Central Land Council daily just to make sure I've filled the entry permit out correctly but can't get hold of anyone ( I did miss a return call but rang back shortly after but again no one). So If you do decide to go you'll have to allow plenty of time to obtain one.
