Hi, we just bought a used Coleman Montana 12 deluxe to replace our dead Kmart tent. I understand the awning is achieved by opening up the fly. In the pictures I have seen of this tent the awning has side walls. On our tent I cannot find any side walls.... are they a feature only on the newer models? I am not sure how old ours is....
If you have side walls on your awning, where do they zip out from?

I have one but I cannot ever remember having sidewalls on the veranda. Ours would be 6 years old or more

Possible side walls were optional ?
Mine were for my Outdoor Connect Escape 6, I bought 1 wall which can be used either side to weather conds (wind / rain).
More probable, the pics you have seen show additions by an owner, made by them as an aftermarket feature.

From what I can see and read about this tent the side walls are separate but should be included. Maybe the person from whom you purchased it didn't use them and had them packed somewhere separately and forgot about them when selling the tent to you?
