EOTopo

EOTopo is an enhanced topographic map of Australia. It incorporates street, road & track data with topographic detail & POI labelling for populated localities & campsites.

Could you advise me please on the availability of the update for Memory Map that was announced to be about two weeks from the 9th February. I have been checking every week since to no avail.

HI Pete,
Yes we supplied the data to Memory-Map a long time ago. We followed up recently and they advised they were targetting an April release but we have not heard or seen anything yet either.

Memory Map have advised “We have the new EOTopo edition in process and should be in a position to release that within the next couple of weeks”.

We have received an update to the situation with the delayed release by Memory-Map - they advised us today that they are no longer going to proceed with EOTopo 2018 for sale on their platform.

EOTopo is still available to purchase as follows:-

1. for ExplorOz Traveller (for iPads/iPhones, Androids, and Windows 10) - purchase the ExplorOz Traveller Premium Offline Maps from our shop (or in-app) for $49.99

2. for use in other mapping software that is compatible with raster maps (such as OziExplorer, TrackRanger, Mud Map, and Hema Navigators) - purchase a full EOTopo license ($99.95 for Premium) that will enable you to download ECW, OZF, and MMR file formats. The license includes use in ExplorOz Traveller.

Pete,

In our communications with Memory-Map it appears we can directly sell the .qct files to you for use in Memory-Map. Do you have a 3rd party maps license for Memory-Map? This is needed to allow us to deliver the maps to you outside of the Digital Map Store.
