G'day Austag. I made some comments on the
forum on the 4th of August last year. I expect they would still apply but the summer cyclones will have done more damage, and the undergrowth on the bottom end would be horrendous for the first vehicles through. The lake areas down the bottom end may still be impassable also. In 2000 I drove the whole way from 80 mile beach to the lakes only to find my way blocked by an inland sea!! Turned around and drove all the way back out!!Pack a Saw and a mattock if you're going early!! Have fun. Timnivo
