Thinking of getting one of these, they get plenty of good reviews on the product review website but it would be good to hear from anyone who owns one. The bags look good too, being free of bpa , plasticizers and phthalates.

Wicket - We've got a LSVS120W, with two sets of the sealable canisters.

Had it for about 2 months, seems to do the job just fine. It is Made in China, though, so I didn't expect German quality.

The canister setup is particularly handy and they seem durable enough - the glass is supposed to be boro-silicate glass, the same as Pyrex.
Haven't tried them out in the oven yet, though.

The bloke selling them is pretty good to deal with. He stuffed up and included the wrong size connectors for the suction tubes (we got 2 suction tubes, because we bought 2 sets of canisters).

Contacted him about the problem (the connectors he sent were for the bigger model), and he promptly sent the right ones.

The vacuum unit produces a good level of vacuum sealing, and the bag sealing works good, so no complaints there.

The only thing I would like, is a choice of being able to buy single canisters, as one needs more of the small and medium size canisters - the big ones are not used as much. But you only get the one choice, of the set-of-three canisters.

Cheers, Ron.

Hi Wicket.
We have a LSVS130G and have found it to be easy to use and trouble free. It has packed about 20 meals for us without a hitch. I would advise though, if you bought one, that you read and u/s the instructions first and have a few practice goes. Good luck.

We've had a LVTS120W model for 2 or 3 years. Doesn't get regular use but has always done the job without problem. Used it today as it happens. Reckon it was a good buy.
