Good morning need some information regarding anybody used the stone chip paint on the front of their vans and if so would you recommend it or was it a waste of time and money.I have also looked into the option of putting on
the rock tamers.
Cheers

I'd recommend a Stone Stomper.
I painted our Tvan stone guards with "Raptor Liner" - you can get it at Autolac. I prepped the stone guards by sanding them priming then painting a few times with a roller. I found that it was not much better than normal paint and so was a waste of time.
I've heard good things about Rhino Liner but it's more expensive because you have to get it professionally applied.

Isn't the Raptor stuff what they use for lining Ute tubs?
I thought that was meant to be pretty bullet proof.

Meant to be but my experience is that it wasn't - performed about the same as normal paint when getting hit by rocks/sand at 100km/hr (ie standard Tvan stone deflector treatment). I'm pretty sure I mixed it up and applied it as per the instructions.

Agree with peter - Stone Stomper is the way to go.
