The trek notes for the

Minimum No. of days 16
Travel Time 1day, 22hrs, 36 mins

Depends on condition of road, how fast you drive, how many side trips you do, how many wells you stop to look at etc etc. I have dine the CSR twice recently. Ist took 16 days as we stopped at every
well and also 2 x 2 day stops. 2nd time with son we were on a tight schedule (for him) and even though track was awash with water in southern end we did it in 11 days., going to all wells. It was a bit rushed though.

Hi David,
so you also think 1 day, 22hrs and 36 mins is unrealistic? I too have travelled the CSR in 11 days. We usually travel for about 6hrs per day which would equate to 66hrs travel time. (i.e. 2 days, 18 hrs) I think you'd be pushing to knock it off in 1 day, 22 hrs although I suppose it could be possible, but why would you? The trek note average speed is about 43kph which would be nigh on impossible for most of the track.

Motorbiker has done it in about that time. So it is possible, and again depends on the conditions.

Isn’t the travel time in that info , actual moving time . The same as google maps or other , they all give a travel time, so if you drove non stop that is the time it would take.
Cheers Robbo
