I'm thinking of approaching this trek from the south at Rogers Gap in the next few days. Any problem with this?.

It depends on the rainfall they have had. There a couple of years ago and there was a crossing of the Finke with
water in it but there was also a bypass. I don't think
Boggy Hole is all that good to
camp at. I always have camped at 24 17.521 S 132 53.805 E which is about 6.4 kilometres or 45 minutes north of
Running Waters or at
Running Waters.
Its a great drive and I try and do it when I am in the area.
