Hi all,

Been a long time since I've been on here - too long between trips. We are planning a trip in the next couple of months. Looking at staying at Twin Bridges for a night or two on the way through from Brisbane to FNQ. Reason being my Dad has fond recollections of this area from his childhood and we are bringing him and my Mum along with us. They are in a caravan - my wife and I with kids in the offroad camper trailer.

Has anyone been through there lately? Is it a nice place to stay? Thoughts/pics appreciated.

I've searched the internet and not coming up with much relating to this camp area, if it is still one.

Thanks,
Paul

There is a Twin Bridges camp near Lotus Creek in Wikicamps. This is off the Marlborough-Sarina road. You will have to check if the road is open at the Sarina end as it was closed after cyclone Debbie.
