KML file into ExplorOz App?

Previous threads (over a year old) suggest that its not possible to get ExplorOz to display a route/track contained within a KML file..
Is this still the current advice?

The app does not support importing of external files, no.
However, if it's of any help, you can create Private
Treks in-app, and the app comes with the 182 ExplorOz
Treks already built - which you can use as-is or modify (save as new Private Trek) to suit your needs. These are the same 182
Treks that you see published on the website with the difference that the app will actually navigate you along the route.

I have found an ExplorOz "User Trek" that is pretty close..I'll try downloading it to my device tonight.
