Hey everyone,
If you are considering experimenting with Tred see my experience below.
I've recently spent a very boggy weekend away up the
vic high country and gave the treds an absolute workout.
I did put them through their paces and they got thrashed. But you would expect them to stand up to the
test.
Well, there looking pretty average already.
Mate of
mine has maxtrax and his look good as gold. A perfect example on why you pay twice when you go cheap. So i've lashed out and got Maxtrax. Should have gone quality in the first place.
Found a coupon code to save 5% that included FREE shipping if anyone is in the market. At least I got one win! lol

The original treds were admittedly rubbish my pair cracked right down the middle on the first use.
Then i bought maxtrax and the lugs wore off.
I cant reccomend the new style treds enough though,
mine have worked a treat. I have the arb stlye one and so far after 2 weekends of mud recoverys the lugs havnt worn off and they havnt cracked which was my problems with the old treds and maxtrax.
Also they are abit easier use as shovels might just be me though ?.
Cheers Jed

If you burnt the lugs off, you aren't using them correctly.
Spin the wheels and you''ll melt the lugs on any trax.
They even mold in a warning on the surface about this.
