Filthy, dirty, unhygenic and expensive fuel.
Rather a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

Ha ha! You've should've been there in the early 1970's when old Joe ran the place - and he had to shoo chooks out of the dining room, so you could find a place to sit down! LOL

Fortunately, most oil companies demand a satisfactory level or standard of customer service today, because places that are sub-standard, impact negatively on the image of their fuel brand.

Cheers, Ron.

Yehh I remember the chooks
and if you wanted milk in your coffee or tea Joe would go out and milk the goat.

We used to turn off just before there on the way to Forrestonia drilling survey patterns ( now a few mine sites ) and it was always very much ''outback''

I guess that would be the point on the map, that 80LandCruizer has marked - just 300M West of the Yellowdine roadhouse!

Why he/she has marked that particular point, has me confused, too!

Yellowdine Roadhouse - Exploroz

Google Maps: -31.29675, 119.65186

Cheers, Ron.

I think 80LandCruizer is simply pointing out that the coordinates in Places for the roadhouse (put in by Exploroz by the looks, not himself) are incorrect in that they are out by 300m.

Cheers

I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Hasn't got a lot going for it. We stayed there once on the way home as it was pouring hard and I couldn't be bothered putting the camper up.
Over priced food and night shift girl couldn't stop yawning and was out for a fag every few minutes.
Use only in an emergency.

Last Sunday the sign on the door said "Closed today for an Emergency" (or something like that)

Today the sign on the door said "Closed for Renovations".

Looking for adventure.
In whatever comes our way.
