Hi Bill
The Main road from
Gregory through to
Burketown is an excellent bitumen road, and has been this way for many years.
Then you still have bitumen through to Liechardt Falls and then a good dirt road through to
Normanton.
Cheers
Stephen

We came through three days ago, and the Leichardt to
Normanton road is probably the best gravel road in the country!!

Must be a good road if it beats the Wary
Gate Rd running out from
Noccundra Hotel towards
Cameron Corner...drove it a few weeks ago, that thing was a graded gravel highway about 4 lanes wide that I could easily sit on 100kph whilst towing the camper trailer. Added bonus was practically having the road to ourselves, only had to slow up once for an oncoming vehicle.
