Hi
Heading up to QLD in a few weeks and thinking about going via Mutawinji National Park and then White Cliffs. I know it has been very dry out that way and wondering on people views on if it is worth it or leave until a trip in a year or two. Also, its 20 years since we went to Mutawinji (and were rained in!). Believe the only way to see the rock art now is on a guided tour. Has anyone done this and comments welcome.

cheers

Its been a guided tour for a long time, 17 year back it was $25 for a guided tour, which was also the price of a case, so $50 now is my guess for todays price :)
Access road in was 1 meter deep with bulldust. We spoke to the ranger back then in his new 3 litre navara, on its 3rd engine. He told us he drove it till it blew up and when he got it back, it came with a new air filter in it every time ;) Awsome spot
