Guys, hi! Tell me pls, if I go to a new place for fishing, do I need to take a fishfinder? Many fishermen said me to take it if I don't know anything about a new place.

5% of fishermen catch 95% of the fish and I guarantee 100% of them have sounders.

Gbc the OP is inquiring after finders not sounders, I am sure he would have a sounder and is just requiring information about finders. I am sure he will post a handy link to the best finder in the market ... at any juncture.....

I find selecting the ‘show fish symbol’ toggle makes any model more interesting...

Ohhhhhh Gbc so you have the ‘show fish symbol’ toggle on your models hmm I see.... the upmarket model with the on-off Dihydrogen Monoxide detection system? Yes they are most appropriate.

If you need a fishfinder, then you may need a boat to use it from too. A body of water is also required to float the boat and to dip the fish finder into.
If there is water, then there may be fish, it is a game of chance.
Don't forget a fishing rod, they seem to be an essential bit of kit.

Hi guys again! I read yesterday a lot of articles on this subject and asked around for forums. In general, more or less understood the meaning. Who cares if you can check out a goodarticle about fishfinder. Tell me please, which model of a fishfinder is best to take? Maybe there will be some advice on my preferences?
I go fishing on large fish such as catfish. Which fishfidner is suitable for this fishing? Spaibo to you

This link is insecure.

A cheap Garmin colour Sounder from any of the chain stores will work just fine and they are almost completely automatic. I have one on a fishing kayak. The good technology has trickled down.
Of course you don’t need one, but being able to read the bottom is kind of important when chasing a feed.
