Well SOMEONE had to post it.

Yep, a new season with Good 'Ol Russ showing us how it's done!

Starts tonight, Sunday 5 Aug on the TEN network.

Now, if you don't like Russell, don't shoot the messenger. (Although that is quite possible) lol

Cheers

I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Can't wait to get some more survival tips. They've come in very handy in the past. :)

Does anyone remember in one of Russell’s earlier series when we goes to the pub and buys a dozen beeeers. He picks up the beers and dragged everyone’s beers off the bar with the bar towel ??
I was at the Isisford pub one night and this old Toyota pulled up out the front and this 80 year old man wandered in. He asked for a carton of rum and ole mate goes and gets him a box of 12 1125 bottles of bundyrum.
It takes the old fella 5 minutes to write a cheque, picks up his carton and dragged everyone’s beer off the bar with the bar towell.
The place erupted. The Barman gave everyone a fresh beer and all was good.
The funniest thing I have ever experienced.
Cheers Greg

I'll wager Russell got a heap of ideas for his skits, straight out of the pages of the ExplorOz forum! [;-)

Cheers, Ron.

Dead right Ron. The son and I done a pretty big fabrication job near Alice in 2014. We sent all the gear home on the truck and we decided to go home over the Simpson.
We caught up to the Nissan patrol 4WD club with about 4 members bogged on the same sand dune west t of the colson track on the French line.
We chatted to the last member of the group as they finally got over. He was pretty annoyed about the the whole trip.
The leader was driving a Land Rover defender. He was a legend in his own lunch time. This massive blue started over the uhf because everyone was spread out and not following close. It was on for young and old.
We finally got past them and stopped at the Colson intersection for early lunch and these clowns all caught up to us.
The defender stopped first and this fellas girl friend hopped out of the defender wearing gum boots. Lol.
Always have a quiet laugh to myself every time I see a defender now.
Made Russell’s show so much more entertaining tonight
Cheers Greg

Well, it hasn't changed much. In fact like watching a re-run.
The Mortein Syndrome.... "When you're on a good thing, stick to it".

Fortunately, I'm off to Arnhem Land in a week or so.

Wow Allan, Arnhem Land. That’s one place I really want to experience. Good on you!!!

Son in law was fishing at Cobourg last year. He raved about it for months.

Good for you

Well good old Russ gave this old fart the best laughs for many a day, (except for the joke about the Irish dad changing the baby). And yep, looks like the writers read this forum too. Where can I find the first series?
