Planning a trip to Karlamilyi late August.
Do the mines in the area ( Woodie Woodie. Nifty etc) restrict access from Carawine South East to the national park? I would rather go this way than on the
Telfer road.

No Skull Springs Rd all accessible and very good driving, mining expansion = a very
well graded road.
A swim at
Running Waters is a must do (warm spring).

Oh, and sorry yes, you can drive through from Nifty to
Rudall River Rd . . . we didn't do it on our recent trip, but we were told no problems if we wanted.
Rudall River Rd also very good to drive, just the trip in / out of DQB is slower, but very picturesque.
The water in the pools here is like ice.
