hi all . unfortunately i need to replace my 2005 td cruiser as it had a run in with a tree and is total write of .looking at a sahara however i have not had any experience with the sahara suspension good or not , is it a system that is prone to failure not into extreme off road any more however when a track turns bad and you need to get through. need to keep in mind that they are getting on in age as well but but i feel comfortable in isolated areas in the 100 series td. will be looking at sub 200k cruisers . been a bad year 1st cooked engine in d40 nav and not worth repairing the 2.5td then the landcruiser

Mates just now listing a nice 06 gxl auto with 136K on it for $50K if you were interested in coming to Brisbane to get one

Thanks for the heads up, however going to spend low $40's as still need to pay stamp and transfer fees on top, roughly $2.5k, plus rego. I have a few to look at, (a couple are in Qld), and 2 are Sahara's. I'm not looking for the bling that comes with a Sahara however they just happen to be in the price range.

Do you intend to modify the truck such as fit some suspension lift?
Saharas require extensive modification to do that.

Cheers for reply. Also found out that by looking up Lexus 470 suspension upgrades there is a lot of information coming out of the states. On a separate note, Today bought a one owner Sahara with suspension conversion done.
