Reminds me of a train joke.......................... A boy & his parents standing on the platform waiting for the train..The father, noticing his son standing too close to the edge of the platform , tells his son to move back otherwise the train will come along & "suck him right off".......................Boy replies COME ON TRAIN !!!!

Myself,

I model N Scale 1:160th :) Nice and small, you can fit so much into 8x5 compared to HO, and the costs are a lot less

There were many AUssie layouts at the exhibition when we went today. And 2 European ones, German! Complete with overhead wiring for the Diesel elect's.. VERY VERY kewl...

There was the a minor spread of US Runnin gear, but in all honesty, that would have made up 10% at most! Normally that makes up the majority.

On the HO side of things, there was a 30x15 layout, with mainly scratchbuilt 1950's rollin stock, was very interesting to see, as I wasnt livin down here then!

Enjoy.
