Hello,

Could someone please confirm if OziExplorer operates on an Apple Mac?

Can anyone recommend a table to use for in-car navigation?

Thanks

Ian

My understanding is that Ozi does not work on MAC platform. In regards to a tablet, Cheaper ones do not have a but in compass and if you have a satelite finder on your tablet it will not find the satelite. For android I prefer the 10" size and have bought samsung. It is mounted via a rubber suction cup holder on the windscreen.

I am pretty sure that Ozi Explorer doesn't run on Apple mac it is designed for Windows CE and PC and I think some Android. I had Oziexplorer bur scrapped it for Exploroz as I am Apple user. Hope this helps

That's not for everyone, only for reasonably IT savvy people. Plus you have to shell out a couple of hundred on a Windows operating system. You may as well just install the almost free Memory Map app and spend the couple of hundred on some decent maps like the Hema set. I've got Ozi and Memory Map and I haven't used Ozi for years.

Wasn't saying it was necessarily a good idea ....just that it is possible. Its up to the individual to decide if it is the best option for them.
