At the EO forumite Long Week End gathering at Berri a Commodore was spotted in convoy with the 12 other shiny, flash 4x4's. It is believed that the Commodore successfully traversed the extremely muddy conditions in to and out of the campsite and was also seen cruising the famous Border Track on Saturday arvo.

No, wasn't fishing for responses...anyway most forumites are out in the bush somewhere

Want to keep it low key and in disguise as I will be out of circulation most of July and August camped up in the Flinders Ranges

It is blowing a gale here today and for those driving westwards it will be in to the wind all the way home.

Okay........July & August........

You make sure you come back now, and do us all a favour......... get rid of that bloody Commodore, and put back that Orange Nissan. I learnt to drive on Purple Downs station in one of those! At least do it for me.......

Have a good one, we missed ya, as I'm sure you know.

Take care.

You should have stayed in Berri. No wind and as you already know, it never rains in Berri. Unfortunately,at Lock 4 is does have the odd isolated shower.

Hey Des, I know where Lock 4 is - Ian has lots of fun in the big houseboat at Lock 6 (had to do wheelies there last time - I hid in the cupboard so I couldn't see). Next trip want to go from Renmark to Mildura - maybe in my new fishing boat. Almost got John R and Heather convinced to come with us.

Ahhhhhh..... Orange Truck....... now I can feel safe........

PS...... very nearly bought one here in Blackwood about 5 weeks ago for around $2000

It was all there I guess, but was only looking at it because of my heart, brains won out in the end.

Cheers
