I am going to use the Madura (WA) to Loongana road in the next week and was wondering about the condition and possible speeds. Not sure if its a track or gazetted gravel road ? Trying to work out if I will need to spend a night in Madura or push on to loongana the same day . I will be using the
Forrest to
Eucla track on the way out which I know is a track and only good for 25 kmh.
Thanks in advance :)

If it's anything like it usually is, it'll be a bit rough. It's a rudimentary station track across the
limestone plain. If someone's recently had a crack at grading it there will be even more sharp
limestone rocks than usual.
Take a heap of air out of your tyres and don't get past 3rd gear and you should be right.
